This captivating mystery novel explores the dark and twisted mind of a serial killer, taking readers on a relentless journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. As the body count rises, Sloane becomes determined to uncover the truth behind the killings, even if it means putting her own life at risk. Along the way, she must navigate a web of deceit, hidden motives, and chilling secrets, making for a captivating and unpredictable plot. One of the book's strengths lies in Bradshaw's ability to craft well-rounded and believable characters. Sloane Monroe, in particular, is a compelling protagonist. She is intelligent, resourceful, and haunted by her own personal demons, making her a relatable and sympathetic figure. The supporting cast also adds depth to the story, with each character bringing their own unique perspectives and motivations. The pacing of "Bed of Bones" is excellent, with the author expertly balancing moments of tension and suspense with slower, introspective scenes that delve into the characters' inner turmoil.
