My Thoughts: Eight Years of Lies by Lisa Hall is a psychological thriller that hooked me from the very first page. The book is fast-paced, and before I realised it, I was already halfway through! Hall’s writing is intricate and immersive, pulling me right into the storyline and keeping me glued to the pages.

I found myself rooting for Claire and her family, desperate to uncover what had happened and how it would all turn out. At one point, I even started imagining different scenarios as if I were part of the story, helping Claire piece it all together. That’s how gripping this book is—it completely draws you in.
