My Thoughts: The Scent of Snow by Giovanna Siniscalchi is a book that entrances you from the very beginning. Siniscalchi’s ability to describe events so you can see them happening vividly in your mind is a testament to her ability for storytelling. She skilfully navigates the complexities of love, parenthood and family secrets creating a tale like no other.

The two protagonists Pedro and Anne are richly developed each carrying the weight of their pasts. Siniscalchi’s narrative feels both poignant and at times heart wrenching which took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, while tackling the true meaning of love and forgiveness.

In conclusion, Giovanna Siniscalchi has crafted a  beautifully written emotional novella that explores the complexity of relationships and everlasting love with some spice added in for good flavour. This book is a must read for anyone wanting to read a heartwarming novel with an unforgettable experience then this is the book for you.
